Over the years, commands used to retrieve
information from the LISTSERV archives have changed. Please note these changes:
GET - Most old information pages referred
to in the newsletters are still available, but the command must now be used
differently. The major difference is that there must now be a period (.)
between the file directory name and the file name. Example:
GET KIDS-91 TIPS. You must now use GET
KIDS-91.TIPS
The KIDLEADR directory is now called KIDLEADER.
/SHIP - this command has been replaced
by the GETPOST command.
To retrieve individual messages or get additional
help, send email to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU with commands like these
as the message TEXT:
GETPOST RESPONSE 3 5 7 (to get messages numbered
3, 5, and 7) GET KIDLINK.INDXHP (to get index help file)
(Note: the previous /SHIP command has been phased
out. Item ranges, like 6-9, will no longer work. List each message you want:
6 7 8 9 )
The
Kidlinkgopher
is no longer operational!
Expect many,
many electronic mail addresses to have changed!
