I Describe Myself and You Draw me - D/D   

D/D  is a multicultural art project that by using observation, description and drawing, enhances writing and descriptive skills. It allows students to describe their physical and psychological aspects, and therefore to gain awareness of their behaviour, interests, habits.

Landmark Game

 In whole classes or small teams, students choose a culturally, historically,or geographically significant Landmark anywhere in the world, and research facts about its location. Next, they collaborate to compose nine interesting and challenging clues. Over a 3-week period, teams work with the clues, communicate with other teams, and submit final answers at the end of the project. Interrelated topics are geography/geospatial, history, literacy, math, and science, art, and music. Competencies are: Collaboration, Organization, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving,  Technology Skills, and Global Awareness.  Uses a closed Facebook site for project news and communication. Schools Around the World
This exciting project is created to help schools of the world get closer and learn more about each other via Video Messaging. It provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with peers around the world to get acquainted with schools traditions, their students’ interests, hobbies, preferences, ask any questions to get knowledge about towns, cities and countries they live in. It is also an opportunity for us to become community ambassadors and spread Global Friendship by working collaboratively.

The idea of the project is sending Peace messages to students of different countries.  Students collaborate to compose their own peace messages on the dove shaped sheets of paper. The content of the letters should contain the information about their place of living, Symbols of the country, traditions and culture should  be presented in the messages. This project includes the contest "We are for peace."

With this project, we suggest you try an unusual form of poetry: from a photograph or a drawing, write a poem that has a diamond shape. One way to let your imagination and your creativity run free, but also following a very detailed model

Basically it is the sharing of creative writing. All children love to do this. It is one of the most successful collaborative activities that   children undertake at school.   The results can be surprising. Add to this an ICT  component and   it becomes   a most worthwhile   activity!                

What's my number?  - A Math Challenge for your young students!

Give your students the chance to develop sense of numbers and to appreciate mathematics from a multicultural perspective! Allows students to create a "math puzzle" in which the reader needs to figure out which numbers to use  (based on clues given by the author) and then  answer to the math problem!

What are my Roots?

Going back to my roots.... It's a project that  supports the students to identify and appreciate themselves and their culture within their own family lineage. 3 stimulating point of discussion toengage your students in search of their roots.

Project Includes: 
Gathering and analyzing classroom statistical data
Graphing data collected
Calculating: mean, median, mode, and range of data collected
Contrasting and comparing global data accumulated

Moon Over Us: Moon Phases, Faces,  History, and Belives

In the project, student  exchange results and analyze the differences of images of the moon and discuss this information. They  will research and share stories, legends and believes about the Moon. The result is an intercultural exchange of explanations about the differences and similarities of each country from the sky, the data gathering technology, and cultural traditions.

How big is Earth - HBiE

Using only the sunlight striking the Earth and a wooden dowel, students can measure the circumference of the earth. Eratosthenes did it over 2,000 years ago. In Cosmos, Carl Sagan shared the process by which Eratosthenes measured the angle of the shadow cast at local noon when sunlight strikes a stick positioned perpendicular to the ground. By comparing his measurement to another made a distance away, Eratosthenes was able to calculate the circumference of the earth.
